Questions clients ask before booking.
- How much does a commercial photography shoot cost?
- Most commissions are quoted as a half day or full day, with the usage licence priced transparently up front. Send the brief — date, location and what the images are for — and you'll get a fixed scope and quote before anything is booked.
- Where do you work?
- Studio Firin is based at Spike Island in Bristol and works regularly across Bath, Swindon, Gloucester and Cheltenham, along the M4 corridor, and further afield across the UK and Europe when a project calls for it.
- How quickly will I get the images?
- Edited galleries are typically delivered within five working days. Headshots are back within 72 hours, and press or event selects can be turned around same day when a deadline needs it.
- What usage rights are included?
- Every quote states the licence in plain English — where the images can be used, for how long, and in what territories. Extended or perpetual licences can be added at the outset rather than negotiated later.
- Do you handle models, permits and locations?
- Yes. Casting, location scouting, permissions and risk assessments can all be arranged as part of the production, or handled by your team if you prefer — whichever keeps the shoot day simple.
- Are you insured?
- Yes — full public liability and professional indemnity cover, with documentation available for venue and client compliance teams on request.
