Every commission is scoped individually. Rates are clear, all-inclusive of VAT, and quoted up front — with editing, admin and communication already built in. No hidden fees, no confusing jargon.
The process

Brief
We align on the vision, shot list, location, usage and turnaround. The brief can be approximate — part of the job is helping you refine it.

Shoot
Calm, prepared, minimal direction. We adapt to weather, mood and environment as they arise, without losing sight of the commercial goal.
03
Edit
Images are selected, colour-graded and retouched to a consistent standard. You receive a private gallery with downloads and favourites.

Deliver
High-res files delivered via download link, named and organised. Licensing is confirmed in writing so you know exactly how you can use the images.

Short sessions

1 hour
A quick portrait, a single headshot or one space.

A short branding set or a compact editorial brief.
Day rates

Half day
Up to 4 hours on site. Headshots, small product sets or a tight location.

Full day
Up to 8 hours. Most editorial, event and architecture shoots fit here.

Multi-day
Larger projects, multiple locations or ongoing retainers. Priced with a clear schedule.
All prices include VAT — the figure you see is the figure you pay.
Rates are for shoot time on site. Editing, admin and all communication before, during and after are included.
Bristol & Bath included. Travel further afield, plus any specialist equipment, styling or models, quoted transparently up front.
Licensing & usage
I keep licensing simple. The quote separates the creative fee from the usage rights, so you only pay for what you need. Common usage tiers include:
- Internal / PR — press, social media, company website and internal comms
- Marketing — paid social, digital advertising, brochures and email
- Commercial — outdoor, print, point-of-sale and national campaigns
- Exclusive buyout — extended or unlimited usage by arrangement
If your usage changes later, licences can be extended. I will always confirm the permitted use in writing before delivery.
Turnaround times
Same-day selects
Available for events and press deadlines. A tight edit of the strongest frames, delivered before the end of the shoot day.
72 hours
Standard turnaround for most editorial, portrait and headshot commissions.
1–2 weeks
Typical for large architecture or interiors projects with extensive retouching.
